Hunger Walk 2019

Action Ministries Hunger Walk Supporters

For 25 years Action Ministries has served people in Kenton County who need help providing enough food for themselves and their families.  We are located in Latonia at 4375 Boron Drive and are open each weekday from 9-noon and the first and third Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30. We are serving about 900 families each month.  Each gets well over 100# of grocery items, paper goods, produce, meat, and bakery items.  We also deliver to 4 senior living facilities in the area to residents who are unable to get to us, but need our help.

The program we are walking for this year is our Food For Thought, weekend food program.  We provide packs of food to children in all the Kenton County School District schools who are identified by their Family Resource Coordinators as being at risk of hunger on the weekends when they are not in school to get their free breakfasts and lunches.  Each pack costs us about $4.  We make enough for 230 children each week.  Funds raised through the Hunger Walk will be used for the 2019-2020 school year.

We thank you for any level of support you are able to give us.  If you have any questions about Action Ministries, or would like to see if there is a way you could volunteer with us, please visit our website - - for further information.

(We are an all-volunteer food pantry, so none of the money raised will be used for salaries.  Everything will be used to feed hungry children in our community.)
