Hunger Walk & 5K Run - Freestore Foodbank
Did you know 1 in 6 people in our community are food insecure? That means 281,000 individuals do not know where their next meal is coming from. Sadly, most of these are children and many do not know where their next meal will come from.
This year I have decided to take a stand against hunger in our community. On Memorial Day, I will be participating in the Hunger Walk and 5K Run to benefit the Freestore Foodbank's network of partner agencies. And, we'll be meeting at CAIN (Churches Active In Northside) to bike downtown to the start of the walk (about 6 miles). We’ll leave CAIN (4230 Hamilton Ave.) at 8:00 am. You can ride with us to the walk and continue your ride or join the walk! CAIN will have a booth and a safe place to leave your stuff.
Please join me in being a champion in this fight by participating with me or supporting my efforts with a tax-deductible donation.Hunger Walk & 5K Run - Freestore Foodbank
